Bundaberg

Matt

Matt started his career at IMPACT Community Services working within both the DES & jobactive programs. He brings with him over 13 years of Customer Service/Sales experience, from the Aviation & Real Estate industries. Matt’s passion for helping people lead him to be the first Mentor signed into the Employment First Aid program. Matt enjoys sharing his vast employment knowledge with his young participants, to help them achieve their employment & personal goals.

Bec

With over 20 years of retail experience, Bec contributes a significant understanding of management in the retail sector. With her many years of involvement volunteering with several community services and sporting organisations, Bec has developed a great rapport with youth. Bec has a passion for helping people and loves helping youth create new opportunities.

Rockhampton

Tegan

Tegan joined Employment First Aid at the start of 2018 after working in the fitness industry for four years. Tegan has experience in mentoring people in the Rockhampton region wanting to achieve their personal and professional goals. Tegan’s passion is to see young people achieve success in the goals they have set themselves. Whilst meeting with various organisations in the community, Tegan is forever acquiring knowledge to better assist the young people within Rockhampton and surrounding area’s as well as the Gladstone region. Tegan is excited to be part of a young persons journey from the start to the finish.

Della

Della recently joined the amazing team at Employment First Aid and brings a wealth of experience, not only through her personal life of raising children into adulthood, but also through their friends and relatives.  Della has fostered children in past years and aided in their growth and prosperities. While maintaining regular contact with young people of all walks of life to this very day, Della continually seeks opportunities to help young people gain the tools, knowledge and communication skills to enhance their pathways through their employment journey.  Seeing and hearing the success stories of all the young people Della has provided support to, is nothing short of gratifying.  Della is keen to meet with all young working people in her community and surrounding areas, to ensure the best work and life balances are gained and implemented for many years to come.

Hervey Bay

Tara

Tara has worked in retail management sector for over 10 years and during that tenure, managed a cafe for two of those, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in working with young staff.  Tara’s strength lies in her ability to work with all demographics of youth and help them overcome problems that may arise on the job and in their personal lives.  Tara states that she “loves mentoring young people and helping them achieve their goals.”  In Tara’s spare time she loves traveling the world and buying property.

Simon

Simon has had various positions throughout his career, predominately in the construction/trade, sales and hospitality industries.  Simon has the ability to build rapport with anyone and especially has a connection with youth and encourages them to communicate freely and openly in order to help them achieve their goals.  Simon is a big advocate for providing the youth of today every opportunity to share their stories so as to instil a safe environment where trust is a major component of the relationships that he builds.
