Becoming a Mentor for Employment First Aid has given me an opportunity to help others, change lives and bring a positive influence to the Youth of Rockhampton. My passion lies in helping them to achieve their goals, build resilience and ultimately help them sustain employment. I am excited to see my Participants grow and exceed their own expectations. I bring to the team over 11 years’ experience working in Administration and have also worked within the Hospitality and Retail industries, for a combined total of 21 years.

Simon has had various positions throughout his career, predominately in the construction/trade, sales and hospitality industries.  Simon has the ability to build rapport with anyone and especially has a connection with youth and encourages them to communicate freely and openly in order to help them achieve their goals.  Simon is a big advocate for providing the youth of today every opportunity to share their stories so as to instil a safe environment where trust is a major component of the relationships that he builds.
